A. There is no core time, but students manage their own experiments and classes according to their needs. However, it is emphasized that advancing towards goals such as participating in academic conferences and job hunting is important.
Q. Does being on the Suzukakedai campus disadvantage me in job hunting?
A. There is no disadvantage. Support is provided across the entire department, regardless of the campus or course, so there is no advantage or disadvantage based on location.
Q. Could you tell me about the Lab seminars?
A. Every week, the entire lab participates in a seminar where we have presentations and progress reports. The person responsible for the presentation is decided weekly, and each person presents once a month. Through research reports and literature reviews, we develop presentation and discussion skills.
Q. Is there a connection between my research theme and my job after graduation?
A. The research theme is not completely related to the job, but every year many students secure jobs in a wide range of industries. Of course, there are also those who join companies related to their research themes, such as semiconductor companies or automobile companies.
